The greater part of my work is created in sandstructure.

All sorts of sand are used to get the expression I prefer to make the work vivid and show elements of the landscape or the subject. The way the structure is effected on the canvas depends of the paint which is used.

The degree of transparency and the finishing coating decides the ultimate result, which is often unexpected but irrevocable. Most times I make a test on canvas or paper.

The optical effect depends of the present light and looks different on every moment of the day. Especially skimming light shows the sandstructure.
