Settling near the vast waters of Lake Santa Clara-a-Velha, he established his permanent, professional working space—Atelier Moradias. This geographic migration marked a profound evolutionary shift in his medium applications. The sun-drenched, mineral-rich environment of southern Portugal transformed his canvas from a flat space for paint into a physical sanctuary for raw earth elements.

Artist Statement: Beyond the Border of Practical Possibilities
Through the years, my original paintings have continuously increased in both physical size and material weight. By combining heavy, custom-formulated oil paints and raw acrylic polymers with deep layers of raw desert sands, coastal stones, and specialized structural fragments, the canvas transforms into a sculptural entity.
With the monumental execution of the TA-Meri cycle, the literal borders of practical possibilities have been reached.
