About the artwork / The inspiration
The Legendary Acropolis in Athens, Greece is an ancient citadel located on a rocky outcrop above the city of Athens, Greece, and contains the remains of several ancient buildings of great architectural and historical significance, the most famous being the Parthenon. As the background of the Attack of the Eagle to a marten is contrast the Culture and Nature.
Artistic Techniques & Materials
The Eagle attacks the marten as the dynamic part in front of the ancient Acropolis as a static background painted in oil and acrylic in a sand structure.
The dark part on the left, the middle part and the lightest part on the right make the painting more vivid because the lines of the rocks in the landscape become their specific accents.
